Mayi ri Episode 2 by Ary Digital

Mayi Ri is a drama that explores the issue of child marriage in Pakistani society. The story revolves around Aina, a young girl who is married off to Samar, a much older man, by her greedy and cruel father. Aina’s life becomes a living hell as she faces abuse and violence from her husband and his family.

In episode 2, Aina tries to escape from Samar’s house with the help of her friend, but she is caught and beaten by Samar. He locks her up in a room and threatens to kill her if she ever tries to run away again. Aina’s mother, who is unaware of her daughter’s plight, visits Samar’s house and is shocked to see Aina’s condition. She begs Samar to let her take Aina back, but he refuses and insults her. Aina’s mother leaves in despair, feeling helpless and guilty.

Meanwhile, Naumaan, a kind and handsome lawyer, meets Aina’s father and offers to help him with his legal troubles. He also expresses his interest in marrying Aina, unaware that she is already married to Samar. Aina’s father lies to him and says that Aina is studying abroad and will return soon. He hopes to get rid of Samar and marry Aina off to Naumaan for money.

The episode ends with a cliffhanger as Naumaan decides to visit Samar’s house to meet Aina, while Samar prepares to torture Aina again.
